Hi there,
I seem to be having a problem with the software that is driving me nuts: I cannot get the software to switch to enhanced mode (reliably). The only way to cure the problem temporarily seems to be an uninstall of the software and then reinstall (with all the irritating long waits of restarting). The problem comes back after the software working fine maybe once or twice. Mark_H seemed to have a similar problem, but I cannot make heads or tails from his workaround description (where exactly do I click when?). I tried all possible click combinations. This is REALLY IRRITATING! Please, I need some help here.

P4 2000MHz, 768MB, GF2 GTS 64 MB, SB Audigy 2, TrackIr 2.01_Final USB, MS FFB2 USB, Creative Webcam USB, MS Intellimouse optical USB
XP Pro all patches (including the MS fix for the memory problem that bugged IL-2FB), Detonator 43.51, DX9a

I just been reading the answers from DNME to Aces JG123 problems. It seems I am having the same problem. The combinations of the possible solutions suggested do NOT work for me. Once the sofware failure happens, in my case, there is no way to enter enhanced mode anymore at all. I reboot my computer, start TIR software, press F8 to enter enhanced mode and nothing happens. No other software running prior to this.

Hi there, I think I have the same problem... The solution I actually use is moving my TrackIR profile .TIR file from the TrackIR directory, I launch the soft, disable the profile for IL-2, stop the soft, push back the file, launch the soft and select the profile file... It is irritating, but it works !!

My config :

512Mo DDR Ram
Logitech Cordless mouse
Microsoft Sidewinder FF2

Thanks for this thread, we will be looking into this problem in the next week or so, hoping for a fix in the next release.

This morning I've tried to play without any modification I've told yesterday, and everything works well... This is really a strange problem...

I'll try again this evening (after launching other programs and without rebooting my computer) just to check if it's not some kind of soft related problem...
