Should TrackIR center automatically in IL2: F

Hello,

I have been using a Track IR and love it, but I have a question with IL2: FB.

Should my TrackIR autocenter when I look away or the TrackIR device looses view of my reflective dots? I just read a post on IL@'s official forums that a guys did this under FB.

Am I missing out on something or did I misread his post?

I am also having problem getting my view in game to go to full "6 o'clock" even when I crane my full side ways. Any ideas what I should adjust in absolute mode to help with this? Do I just keep cranking the speed up?

What does the TrackIR support under FB do for you that IL2 did not do. I am not seeing a difference...

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you are in TrackIR enhanced mode and have the TIR software running BEFORE starting FB. Basically, run the software and look in the lower right hand corner. Hit your mode select key until TIR Enhanced mode is showing there. Then launch FB.

As soon as you get into the cockpit, PAUSE TIR and hit the keypad 5 key. This will center your view. Then hit your CENTER TIR button and then UNPAUSE TIR. You shouldnt have anymore problems. If the TIR loses your dot, once it regains it, your view should still work fine.
