Q: Translation axis in relation to where you are looking?

Potential customer here. I am using freetrack/opentrack/facetracknoir with your wonderful track clip pro, and it's not good enough for a very specific reason.
Does trackIR have a feature where the translation axis is in relation to where you are looking? I don't know if this will screw up centering, but maybe have it be temporary? I most notably have issues when I'm looking behind.
To be specific: To look out the window to the right and behind, I want lean my head right and turn my head right. As soon as I'm looking behind, I want to be able to physically lean my head left to continue leaning out to the right. Is this possible in TrackIR?

I'm having the same problem. Funny thing is, with the Track IR 4 software it wasn't a problem. Look to the side and move your head forward and you're looking over the side (which is what would happen IRL). Look to the rear and lean your head to the side you're looking toward and again you've moved over the appropriate side. It's like the Track IR 4 software adjusted your head movements to moveyour ingame head where you expect it to go. With TIR5 software (at least v5.2.200 Build 14548) it matches the direction the camera sees. So if I'm looking to my left rear and lean my head to its right (my aircraft's left, since I'm looking backward) my view crosses to the right side of the aircraft. And if I'm looking to my left and lean my head forward to look over the side the view slides forward in the cockpit.
When I first upgraded to the TIR5 software a year ago this happened, prompting me to return to Track IR 4. This is no longer an option since the flight sim I'd been waiting on for several years is not compatible with anything but TIR5.
BTW, I'm using TIR Pro 3 hardware with a Vector clip, if that matters. I really don't want to upgrade to the headset clip since I don't fly with a headset and I've gotten very used to the visor on which I mount the Vector clip.

Hello Von Baur,
Have you tried checking or unchecking the trueview option? TrueView takes virtual rotation (yaw, pitch, roll) into account when applying physical translation (x, y, z) movements. This allows you to turn your head to one side, lean toward the monitor, and have your in-game view zoom in the direction you are virtually facing. Disabling TrueView results in physical translation superseding virtual rotation, so that moving toward the monitor physically always moves the in-game view straight ahead, making it impossible to zoom in any direction other than straight ahead.
Best regards,
