Renaming profiles

I am unable to rename profiles. As normal in Windows I can rename the file in the profile folder , but the new name is not reflected in the drop down list of profile names in TrackIR. I cannot rename a profile from within TrackIR, in spite of what the manual says:

5.8.1.2 Profile Settings
Name
To change a profile name, type the new name and then press “enter.”

I cannot "type a new name" anywhere...neither the name selected in the drop down list nor the entry in the list itself can be changed.

Major frustration.

I solved my own problem...it seems that the name that appears in the drop down list is not the name of the profile file, but rather a name called out IN the profile file...all you have to do is open the XML document and edit it! How convenient. It might be good to be able to do it from within TrackIR, just sayin'...
