using Track IR to perform OS actions

Hey guys,

I just bought a Track IR (literally today, haven't even got it yet! :D) but I'd like to know if it's possible to hook up Track IR to perform some actions within Windows.

For example configuring it so that if you turn your face to the left it opens the start menu, or things like that. Quite excited about the possibilities.

Is there some sort of SDK which we can play around with?

Thanks

Hello jjmoschetta,

First off, congratulations on your purchase. Secondly, it is possible to control certain aspects of Windows with TrackIR. You would need to use the TIRmouse.exe option in the TrackIR install file. Then you would need to download the TrackMapper utility from the third party section on our site.

There is no official support for these utilities, but they are there for you to play with. Good luck.

Best regards,
