Hello,

I have just received a brand new trackir 5 device, which i have correctly installed.

I also installed the latest driver software on my windows 7 64-bit pc: TrackIR_5.2.2.Final.exe
When i start trackir5, i get the following error message: snmpapi.dll is missing. Reinstall software, etc, etc...

any idea what is the root cause of this problem?

any help would be appreciated.

The error you are getting "error message: snmpapi.dll is missing" is a generic windows message when the SNMPAPI.DLL is corrupted or removed. The best guide for repairing I have found is located here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerr ... -error.htm
