ok bought this (tr1) awhile back did not do any simming (waiting for final patch for FB) so now after deciding to get this thing hooked up heres what happened.First of all the hat that you guys sell is a joke it would light up the led for about 10 seconds then go off I figured it was something in the software/usb connection fiddled an fiddled finally gave up figured I got a dead unit stuck a bunch of dots on the hat ok now i got it to at least (led) to stay on but a bunch of read boxes in the tracking window, then a light bulb in my head went off an decided to stick a dot on my forhead bingo now i get a nice single green box went through some adjustments but for the life of me it's just way too fast I tried the example in the back of the manual for setting up a flight sim but it is still way too fast sometimes I get a crotch view, hell I don't know to do now.I am using the 2.12 drivers, what setting will get your head to move dead slow so i can work up from there?

Try this profile, http://lisakl.home.mindspring.com/FB.tir

Right-click the link and save as a file. This profile works very well for me in IL-2.

Motion Page

CUSTOM Profile

Uncheck ""GROUP EDIT POINTS"

Set 1-3 to 0
Built the rest up from there.

5 minutes of playing around in the software in answer your questions yourself.

The hat works fine for me. Maybe you have the filters set wrong?

Again, 5 minutes of playing around in the software.....

What is the distance between your forehead dot and the receiving unit? If it's more than 18" to 24" I'd say you don't have enough "throw" from side-to-side and have to compensate in your profile by increasing the sensitivity. This makes the unit far less precise than it should be.
