Hello,

would there anywhere be a guide on how to bring the positions of markers live from motive to unreal engine ?

in motionbuilder it works nicely with the plugin.
but for unreal im afraid i would need some kind of help..

a step by step guide would be good.

any hints ?

Hi Artoo,

I was looking into this last week. I purchased the Unreal engine subscription and started reviewing the forums over at Unreal.

I will reply back when I find out more.

Hi Artoo,

We are not intimately familiar with the UDK, so we can't speak directly to the ability to get marker reconstructions into Unreal via their tools. However, with our tools, you can certainly stream marker XYZ into any engine that will read that stream.

With the NatNet SDK you can create custom streaming networks and have access to labeled marker reconstruction streams in addition to rigid body 6 DOF data and skeletal data.

Here is the link to our NatNet SDK:

The free download includes many samples.
