Hello, I have had the Trackir system for many years.
It has brougght me countless hours of flight simming enjoyment, thank you!
Recently my trackir started acting strange, jittery, not ventering, etc... so I bought a new Trackir.
I uninstalled all software, downloaded the latest software & drivers, installed the software and drivers, plugged in my track in, click on " locate and install driver software" when the message pops up, "installing driver software message pops up, install starts to run looking for the drivers and I get the messgae "Windows could not find driver software for your device".
I have now unistalled, reistalled, changed USB ports but it cannot locate the drivers.
Any idea what the problem might be? Thanks!
Dave

Hi Dave,

Have you tried to manually point to the TrackIR driver for your device in Device Manager? I would be happy to assist you with this via a remote desktop session. Please submit a ticket with us at help.naturalpoint.com if you want to setup a remote desktop session.

Best Regards,

Hello and thank you....
I installed the software and drivers on another machine and it worked fine.
I also noticed on the other machine in the Naturalpoint folder there were 2 folders, one being a DRIVER folder.
I reinstalled the Trackir software on my FS PC and there is no DRIVER folder installed in the Naturalpoint folder.
I am running windows 64 bit.
I noticed when I installed the software on my other PC it installed a few different things and took longer than on my FS PC.
Any halp would be appreciated before I need to open up a ticket, thanks!
Dave

Hello Mike, I sent an email to help@naturalpoint.com from my personal Gmail account or do I need to do it through the website?
I noticed when trying to do through the website that it did not recognize my me. Do I need to register for support or something? Thanks!
Dave

Dave,

Just put in whatever information you have available at help.naturalpoint.com. It should allow you to submit the ticket with very little info if you don't have it available. Please let me know if it won't allow you to submit and I'll find another way.

Regards,
