V120 PCB USB plug - change to right angle

The perpendicular angle on the USB receptacle is turning out to be a bit bothersome with my project (often getting hit, or taking up room once I put protection in place).
I'd like to de-solder it (I have access to some nice Pace gear to do this properly) and replace it with one that is horizontally inline with the PCB. I'm wondering if there is a horizontal version with the same pin format as the current one, or if indeed that kind of thing exists ... maybe the horizontal one has a larger footprint, maybe if the extra footprint is simply for mechanical reasons and is just more ground connection, I can (carefully) ignore that ?
Direct questions:
~ What is the part number for the USB receptacle?
~ If I'm making sense, any suggestions or other ideas to get around this?
>>possible direct wire/cable straight into the PCB then a cable based plug off-board ?
Any help appreciated. Thanks!
