I'm using TrackIr 5 with FSX and Prepar3D FlightSims for more than 2 years with full satisfaction with the device, but I have now a problem with software TrackIr v5.2.2.
When I strike P key to pause the flight I get a return of a PC Screen config Menu, and the same thing happens with other keys that also return erratic results as Windows Start Menu and so on. (of course these keys are not assigned to any of the hotkeys for TrackIr functions). Moreover these keys remain anchored to these returns even after closing the TrackIr softeware. The only way to return to its normal function is to restart the PC.
These problem did not happen with soft v4.2.039, so I reinstalled it again in order to use the Flight Simulator, but I believe that the new soft versions have better performance and want to use it again.
What to do ?
I have Windows 7 Ultimate, FSX Gold Edition and Prepar3D Academic v 2.5

Have you tested this with other versions of v5 software? I would test this out with version 5.1.3 Final, that way we would know if it is all version 5 software or just 5.2.2. Would you be able to submit a screen shot of the menu it brings up?

Thank Mike for your quick respoonse. I'll download v5.1.3 and change by the actual v4.2.039 and test it to reproduce the problem. I'll also take some captures of the screens.
As soon as I have these, will post them for you.

These are the erratic key I have found with TrackIr v5.1.3 and FSX & Prepar3D.
Key P returns Capture nº 2
Key E returns Capture nº 3
Key U returns Capture nº 4
Key R returns Capture nº 6
Key F returns Capture nº 7
Ket D Toggle PC screen (no capture)
Key M Minimize FSX (no capture)
Key P with FSX and TrackIr shut down returns capture nº 8 that shows the returns still persist with TrackIr closed down. The only way to recover the normal keys is to restart the computer.
Of course no of these keys are assigned in TrackIr

I see the problem and it likely doesn't have anything to do with TrackIR or FSX. Your Windows key is active. Do you have anything assigned to the Windows key?

I have set Sticky Windows Keys to inactive but the problem still persisted.
First, I had set space key as TrackIr Pause, and Win key as TrackIr Center. Now I have changed to original F9 and F12 for these functions and the problem seems to be solved even with v5.2.2. This make me fell that the problem was really related to the software and some keys that can not be assigned to TrackIr functions.
So, I will leave this keys as they are now and use TrackIr v5.2.2.
Lets's cross fingers and see what happens !!!
