Hi,
My TIR5 was working fine before. Load it up for some simming and the camera has gone berserk. All it see is red and green. I assumed it was the bright sunshine through the window. Turned the blinds down but still no joy. Left it and came back in the evening and all it sees is mostly red areas areas in the camera window jumping around.
I'm using the track clip and it wont see the LEDs just a red haze where the my face and headset would be.
I tried altering the IR brightness and light filter threshold but it makes no difference.
Is it busted? Any ideas?

///Rage,
It seems that this post slipped between the cracks. Did you get this matter resolved or did you need troubleshooting still?

I have a similar issue. My camera appears to have died. I have a field of red in the camera window and camera is warm to the touch. I have no windows behind me.

Buzzbee,
Have you created a ticket with me at help.naturalpoint.com? What are your light filter threshold and IR LED settings set at? Are you using the TrackClip PRO or standard TrackClip?

Hello, I have the same problem. Sometimes works fine , but if you restart the program Trackir5, again the problems begin with the camera. It looks like a software bug. I noticed that many users Trackir5 began these problems. Maybe this problem is due to Windows 10 ? Please help me with this. Thank you.

RF_PapaDoc,
It looks to me like the imaging sensor is failing. Does it fail at a specific time, after use or is it sporadic? What version of the software are you running? Have you tried different versions?

I'm using the latest software version 5.22. The sensor fails repeatedly, when you restart the program. I return it to a working state only after reinstalling the software.

I am having the exact same issues here. The camera just stopped working as well. I've tried changing USB ports it's plugged into, reinstalling and uninstalling, all that jazz. I have the latest software version and it's (obviously) the Track IR 5 Camera. It just stopped working one day. I have sent a support request to natural point as well. I don't even see green anymore, just red.

I am running 5.22
LED status Brightness:51
Light Filter Threshhold 152
IR Brightness 10
Precision processing mode
I have a RED Splotch spreading across most of the camera view at these settings. (I don't recall ever making a change in this area. ) When I adjust the IR Threshold up to 255, the red in the camera view dissipates and the targets on my clip appear more normal, but still large and not sharp, not normal.
My device is at least 3 years old. Moved back to Track IR 3 and really see the difference between it and track IR 5.
