Detection Flickering

For some reason my detection on the device that sits on top of my monitor does not aquire the 3 reflectors on the track clip, which is totally bizarre! I set it to 30 and it still doesn't. Do they wear out?

Everything can wear out over time. Is the camera still responsive to other inputs? Such as a remote's LED or excessive lighting? What is your IR LED power set at? Could you send me a screen shot of what the camera is seeing?
