Force vector from AMTI not shown on M1.9b

Hi, friends

I'm testing the AMTI forceplate on the latest version of Motive 1.9 beta.
My forceplate is AMTI BP600400 connected to PC through Gen 5 signal conditioner.

There are two problems regarding the use of forceplate on Motive 1.9 beta.

1) Force vector always disappears after "set position". and never shown.
When the motive starts, there are force vector on the 3D perspective pane,
but when I try to configure the position of forceplate using calibration square and
"set position" function, the forceplate seems never respond and no force vector on the screen.
How can I redraw the force vector after configuring the orientation of forceplate.

2) Force data cannot be exported.
Before using "set position", I can record the force vectors.
I can also confirm the force vector in "Edit" mode.
But when I exported that take in CSV and C3D format, there are no force data inside.
How can I export the force data from motive?

Also, everyone needs manuals to use AMTI on Motive.

Thank you in advance

Hello ogasawara,

Thank you for using OptiTrack, and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your issues.

1) We have not seen a problem where data is working before you "set position" and stops working after. We have, however, seen issues when the force plates are improperly set up that looks very similar to this.
Is this behavior being seen when the force plate is setup in a new Project?
Could you please describe, step by step, how you initially set up your force plates?

2) We do not currently support exporting force plate data to CSV. If you would like, I can put in a request for this ability.
We are able to get force plate data to export to C3D properly. Are you seeing properly recorded data after your issue in 1, above? Could it be that your force plate is not contributing data to the recorded take?

3) We are very aware that this workflow need documentation. It has been set as high priority, and we hope to put something up around the release of Motive 1.9.0 Final.

If you would like us to help troubleshoot this issue with you, please feel free to open a support ticket with us at help.naturalpoint.com. We would be happy to receive a recorded take from you so that we can figure this out.

Best regards,
Steven
