Hello,

We are pleased to announce TrackIR 5.3.0 is now available on our new website. We invite you to explore the site, try the software, and share your feedback with us.

5.3.0
* No longer requires the user to run the software with administrator privileges.
* Moved writable files out of Program Files directory and into %AppData%\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\
* Made install of Visual C++ redistributable and USB drivers prerequisites mandatory.
* Fixed crash when resizing 3D view area to zero height.
* User's Manual updated to reflect new system requirements and changes in behavior.

KNOWN ISSUES / COMPATIBILITY NOTES
* The TrackIR software now requires Windows Vista or newer, and can no longer be used with Windows XP or below.

I,m running TrackIR on Windows 8.1. I've had no issues for months. I updated to TrackIR 5.3 last night and the camera is no longer recognized. No LEDs come on etc.

Can you point me to a place to downgrade to 5.2?

My setup:

IMac 5k (2015)
24Gb Ram
Running on Bootcamp drive with Windows 8.1

Update: I deleted and reinstalled the new TrackIR software and rebooted. The TrackIR is working again now.

Hi, i have just updated the new software too 5.3.0.. Now the tracker does not work @ best i get a few seconds of movement then it totally crashes out. But most times it wont even turn on the camera.

Up till the software update, i have had no problems what so ever. Its been great...

Thanks looking forward for a fast patch..

Also submitted a ticket. Have the same issue as sailor. TrackIR is not detected after 5.3. Using Windows 10 HE.

Hi mike i sent basic specs of my p.c via e-mail.. I have just tried the tracker again and it seems fine!!! tried both the clip and clipper pro..
I am upgrading my p.c tomorrow so it will be a complete fresh install of all drivers and software.

I will keep you informed over the next couple of days. But before that i will be using the trackir5 for the next few hours.

Thanks for your support its a great piece of kit i cant do without it now :D
