irreparably broken?

Hello,
yesterday i've used regularly my TiR5

today, although responding to hotkeys (lights are working), there are moments it works, either on its interface, or ingame; most moments, it does not respond

I've tried:
-old Track IR4: it works perfectly
-Software upgrade to 5.4: no go
-installing and using on another PC: same issue

so my question is, not being a technician, whether a fix is possible at a fair price, in my country (Italy), or its age (purchased when TiR5 was released) claims its toll

Please create a ticket with me at help.naturalpoint.com so I can help troubleshoot this issue. Repairing the device wouldn't make sense due to the cost, but we can see if the problem is software related.
