Dear all,
we are currently testing a V120:Trio System using passive markers. Since for our application accuracy is important, I would like to know to which exact point the marker position refers to (since the markers themsselves have a diameter of several millimeters). Is it the center of the sphere? Or the center of the side facing the cameras? Or something else?
I am looking forward to your answer.
Kind regards,
RebSchu

Re: Marker Position
Hello RebShu,
Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your questions.
The way the system tracks the markers, the X Y Z position will represent the center of the sphere with sub-millimeter accuracy.
If hope this helps with your questions. If you need any more in-depth information, please feel free to reach out to us at help.naturalpoint.com
Best regards,
Steven

Re: Marker Position
Hello, a follow-up question:
Since the system tracks the center of the sphere, what if I use different size of markers (with different diameters)?
Will the system automatically detect and consider the differences? Or I have to change settings somewhere?
Thx.
