Dear all,
when I click on a marker in Motive in the 3D view, a box containing four values is displayes as, for example, ((1.23, 2.34, 1.23) 23.45 mm). The triple is the position of the marker, but what does the fourth value mean? It is not the size since I use a 9 mm marker.
Best regards,
RebSchu

Re: Fourth value in marker position box
Hi RebSchu,
I am not sure where you are seeing this 4th value. I right-click on a marker and hover over the Marker Info option to see the X, Y, Z coordinates, but I cannot get Motive to show me a 4th value. I tried Motive 1.8, 1.9 and 1.10
Do you have any screenshots showing this 4th value?
What version of Motive are you running?
Best,
Steven

Re: Fourth value in marker position box
Hi Steven,
thanks for your reply. I am using Motive 1.9 with a V120:Trio. I have attached the screenshot and a magnification of the relevant part.
I am looking forward to your answer.

Re: Fourth value in marker position box
Thanks RebSchu,
The 4th value does seem like it is supposed to be the size of the marker. Marker size is not something that is always calculated accurately, especially with a limited system such as a Trio. This is why your values are so far off from reality.
If you used a set marker size in your application settings, instead of a calculated size, you would see that the 4th value consistently shows the fixed marker size.
Cheers,
Steven
