Been using Trackir for years and years, never experienced this issue before. My profiles save but the camera settings and the 'Minimize to system tray' settings won't persist between each session...

foxtrot789,

I want you to go into the TrackIR %APPDATA% location and delete the Settings file. Then start TrackIR, make your changes, then restart to see if it persists.

Thanks Mike, I believe my persistent (and consistent) adjustments finally convinced the software that I was serious.

Although a different question/issue... It seems the longer TrackIR has been running, the more likely it is to become really jerky. Once I kill the program and restart it I'm back to smooth viewing. I've only had this problem since the latest driver, idealy I'd like to go back to an older driver but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Could you possibly help with that?

Thanks again.
Trevor

foxtrot789,

Could be a memory leak that we don't know about causing the issue. Next time you fire it up, take note of the memory usage and then take note again once it become jerky. If that is the case I will see what may be causing it. If it isn't then we'll have to dig a little deeper.

Lordka,

Have you tried going into the %Appdata% location and removing the Settings.xml file before opening TrackIR and changing your settings. Sometimes the file is set to read-only and cannot be overwritten. However, once the file is no longer present, the software will create a new one with your updated settings once you close TrackIR.
