Unable to install TrackIR 5 PRO on Windows 7 X64 [Solved]

Today I received my TrackIR5 with TrackClip Pro clip but I am unable to install the IR camera.
I have installed the 'NaturalPoint_USB_Drivers_2.70_x64' USB drivers and 'TrackIR_5.4.2' TrackIR software as Administrator while my virus scanner was disabled. However when I connect the camera on a USB port (I have tried 6 different ones) I get the message 'Device driver software was not successfully installed).
I have tried uninstalling all TrackIR software and drivers and then removing all references to 'naturalpoint' in the registry. After a restart I reinstalled the USB drivers (As Administrator and with a disabled virus scanner), tried several USB ports but no luck.
In the Device Manager the camera is shown as an Unkown device. I tried to manually update the driver software, pointing to the folder 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\USB Drivers x64\npusbio_x64'. This does not work either. All I get is the message 'Windows could not find driver software for your device'.
Even though the folder 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\USB Drivers x64\npusbio_x64' contains three files named: 'npusbio_x64.cat', 'npusbio_x64.inf', 'npusbio_x64.sys'.
At this point I have little hope of ever installing TrackIR so I would like some help before I need to return the product.
