TrackIR Limitations?

I am running the latest 5.4.2 and have actually messed around with TrackIR for a few months while searching the internet for help in the matter. Today, I am going to post here as I am positive others have come across this issue and I would just like to know the tips they have on getting this working right.
My issue is angles between the camera and the worn sensors.
With the hat clip, the bill seems to get in the way on certain angles (looking up if the camera is below the monitor) or a bad angle to the reflectors (looking down if the camera is above the monitor). Of course, you can bend the reflectors at angles (up/down) in order to help with this.
With the pro clip, the issue seems to be when looking around the sensors will get into an angle where two of the IR LEDs seem to become one. This seems to confuse the camera. You can change the angle of the pro clip, but then you find yourself with the same issue moving your head into a different position where you did not have an issue before.
These seem to be somewhat physical limitations of the system, but I am hoping others have suggestions to help me remedy this. Thanks. -Rob
