Cannot use T-IR 5 in P3D after flying in VR

I have been using RiftCat, Vridge, Steam VR, and Flyinside to fly in P3D in VR.
Today I fired up T-IR, centered it and paused it as usual, opened P3D without using any of the VR programs, and oculus rift and steam VR kept coming up, and I kept closing them.
I was able to fly just fine but T-IR was not working in P3D and had to use the hat switch to change my views.
Please help me figure this out, Google seaRCHES COME UP EMPTY FOR ME.
