Trying to use TIRMouse with Word

I'm trying to use mouse control with Word, but every time I switch focus to Word, mouse control stops. Suggestions?

Unfortunately TIRMouse is a deprecated product and hasn't been updated in a while. It was left in for legacy users and specific programs, but there is no longer any support of the program.
