When I install new software and the first box appears stating "Do you want {software name} to install this software on your computer?" Screen darkens and SmartNAV freezes. I have a new PC and I think I had this problem 12 years ago when I first purchased SmartNAV but don't remember what I have to change on Windows. This is on Windows 10.

Hello Chuck24,

Thank you for contacting us here on the Forums. This may be related to User Control settings. If you press the Windows Key and type 'User Control' and select Change User Account Control Settings. Then choose Never Notify. When you install SmartNAV Right click on the installer and choose Run as Administrator.
