TrackIRv5 not responding as soon as load up

So my Track IR V5 will not load up, as soon as i launch i get a white box then not responding, worked fine on a very old patch. now it wont work on any patch available on this site.
if i try as soon as soon as i start up the pc it works now and then. not happy atm with this program.

im on windows 10 and running Nvidia graphics card.

Hello GuyverGamingTV,

have you tried updating your graphics card?

Please try doing a Full uninstall and reinstall of the software and see if that helps. You can follow these steps below:


1. Unplug the TackIR from your computer.

2. Remove TrackIR from add/remove programs

3. Remove NaturalPoint Drivers from add/remove programs.

4. Delete installer executable from where you saved it

5. Delete NaturalPoint folder from Program Files x86

6. Delete NaturalPoint folder from %APPDATA% location.

-C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint

7. Reboot PC

8. Download the latest installer from website (http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/downloads/)

-The latest download will also have our latest USB Drivers.

9. Right-click and install as an administrator

10. Plug in TrackIR and verify that it is or is not working still.

Yup, done all that several times but will try again when I get 5 mins.

Graphics driver are up to date as fairly new card and have to keep them upto date for my recording/streaming software.

ok after a little experimentation i have found the program stops TrackIR from working. for some reason Asus ROG's sonic studio breaks trackir. not sure why but that is what does it.
