i am looking for a low cost solution ....

i have one camera viewing a scene of a room (maybe i buy the smartNAV system?)

i have another camera which is servo mounted and connected to a pc

when someone walks into the the room i want to target track the head of the person

this tracking data is to be fed to the pc which moves the other camera so that the the head always fills the screen image of that camera

can this be done .....? maybe i could modify some of your systems?

if so i could retire my cameraman!

Well, this is sorta possible. We track a simple IR target, not the actual head of the person, so there would have to be a target of some kind on the person. If there is a way to mount this then we have a solution.

We have other systems that actually track people heads, but they are much more costly than the smart-NAV.
