Where is the Assistive Tech Discussion Area

I am currently helping my friend's 12 year old daughter who is able to move her head and one shoulder and is very dependent on this technology to help her express herself and to comunicate. She can't speak because she has a respirator inserted in her throat.
I am keen on helping to develop this area of head control for computers and would like to hear from others.
