TrackIR software doesn't launch (5.4.2)

After the May Windows 10 update, my TrackIR software (5.4.2) stopped working.

When I launch the software I can see the process starting and is active in task manager for a few seconds and then closes. I never see the TrackIR window during these seconds. The device is recognized in Device Manager.

What I've done so far;
Unistalled the Naturalpoint drivers and TrackIR software. Deleted the X86 program entry and the Appdata/Roaming for NaturalPoint. Restarted and installed 5.4.2, no change in behavior.

Repeated the steps above and tried version 5.4.0 with the exact same results.

Any suggestions on what to do next?

Can you try rolling back your windows update?

It appears that the latest windows update that came out is causing troubles for Track IR. At this moment, you can try to roll back the windows update. To do this:

1. Press the Windows Key
2. Type in Recovery
3. Go Back to Previous Version of Windows 10

Also AMD Graphics cards have been known to break Track IR recently. If you re using AMD, you may try rolling those drivers back as well.

why is Natural point not updating their drivers since 2016??

Is that a normal company support? Windows 10, gsync, etc and so far there is 0 upgrades from a company who earned milions of dollars from an expensive product.
