Hi there
I just wanted to hear your thoughts about a idea i had concerning enabling and disabling TrackIR: Would be great if you could see the actual state simply by looking at the tray icon and without the need to fire up the software's window?
What do you think?

It'd be even nicer if you'd be able to see the state and mode indicated by LED's on the IR camera itself.

Thanks for your quick reply Jim.

DNME: I think the problem with the LEDs is that they are needed to illuminate the dot and don't serve your viewing pleasure

No, No green led is for viewing pleasure. It can be also switched off.
Infrared Led are behind the "sun" glasses. And you can see there ligth.

DNME: Perhaps not a bad idea, but green led allread show the state of capturing a dot, but perhaps, yes, we can use it to say, enabled, or disabled.

There may be a misunderstanding. My suggestion was not meant for present trackIR units, but more towards future trackIR units.

I for instance have a CH HOTAS that indicates with lights in which mode i am. It would be very convenient if you could see by a LED or any other light on the camera itself in which mode you are. Say for example:

red = disabled
green = active
yellow on = trackIR enhanced
yellow out = mouse emulation

Yes, added to the future version list.
