Dragging motion issue

I'm trying to set up TrackIR 5 with X-Plane 11, but can't get rid of a floating, dragging type motion when I look quickly to another direction. For example, if I look quickly to the left, my head will stop but the scenery decelerates to a slow stop like a boat in water. I used my TrackIR with older software in X-Plane 10 a couple years ago (the last time I had time for it), and this didn't happen. The scenery would start and stop in perfect sync with my head motion. Anybody know how I can fix this?
