Counterfeit TrackIR Concern

Good Evening TrackIR team,

I am feeling a little nervous as I have purchased a TrackIR here from a pretty reputable retailer selling this as a genuine item, however I have questions now of it's authenticity, Firstly do NaturalPoint ever send their products (specifically TrackIR) in a box such as this, and secondly, everywhere I have read on the NaturalPoint website indicates that the TrackClip is Powder coated Metal, this one is plastic. Just am not feeling comfortable with this purchase at the moment. Do NaturalPoint have a serial number checking facility?

Hello,

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately you have purchased a counterfeit TrackIR. I would suggest that you request a refund from whom you bought it from and report the seller. Who did you purchase this from so others know to avoid them?
