TrackIR 5 hangs on Advanced Settings

TrackIR 5 hangs when selecting Advanced Settings.

I am having the same problem,
it will work fine if I do not attempt to adjust advanced settings.
anyone have a fix.
tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even purchased a new one and same issue.

Is there some sort of dialog box popping up behind the software that is waiting for your input? I haven't seen this issue before aside from these two mentions.
