Where to save XML profile files

Apologies for repeating this thread more or less but apparently when I searched the topic, I replied to a thread that died long ago. SO I thought maybe I can get more exposer by starting it anew. I hoping the community or a rep might get me started with fixing this issue so I can enjoy the product.
I am new to Track IR and I have been given several profile files to try out with my Trackir5 and Track Clip Pro setup. I placed the XML files for each custom profile I have from friends into the Naturalpoint/Trackir5/Profiles folder on my PC and expected to see then in my Profiles tab when I am running the TrackIR5 (5.4.2) program. This is not the case. The 7kb files are still where I left them but I have no access to them from within the Trackir5 program.
