Enhanced mode for the patch

Stormin has just posted in a Simhq thread that the patch enables TIR Enhanced mode and does away with the mouse mode that it was from retail. This means its going to be as good as Il2 FB and we should be able to use the mouse in the MP mode of the game without it moveing the view if you unselect mouse mode in the options.
Now all we need is the patch

??? the implementation of enhanced mode might have been bugged but it is there. I am only playing lomack with TrackIr and enhaced mode.

Not correct if you disbale mouse mode in LOMAC, :Settings:Cockpit: Mouse mode. If you take this off TIR wont work.
using Enhanced mode TIR will not need to have mouse mode enabled in LOMAC , this will be much better for us.

I got an email from Carl about this. We are all waiting to try it out for ourselves, want to make sure it is perfect. We sent them some uints and new code, plus a lot of encouragement! Hope it worked. Any Patch Beta testers out there?

Once Lockon uses enhanced mode, what will happen to people using 2.11 drivers (which don't have lockon in the list of supported games).
I had some troubles with the 3+ drivers so went back to 2.11. Will lockon try to autoload a profile like il2-fb does?
And what will happen if it can't find one. Just curious.

Nemmie more than likley if your using the 2.11 drivers you will just load a TIR file you have created before you enter LOMAC, the auto load feature is only there to make it lazy for us to have profiles auto load to the sim as we chose.
Il2 FB shouldnt be autoloading a profile for you with the 2.11 unless you tell it too (did 2.11 have the Autoload a profile option ??)

Yes, But everyone is on vacation till jan 5th the lead QA gets back at that time....
