I have a situation where Motive refuses to fill a gap in a captured session.

This happens with all interpolation types. Here is a unlisted video showing the issue.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Hi RaveTZ,

Unfortunately, Beta 2 introduced several new issues, and one of them is the inability to fill gaps with the range set to Unlimited.

This will be fixed in a Beta 3 release.
