Ok I had it working last night. Just purchased yesterday afternoon.

Decided to make a profile when done it lockeded up mouse sort of just stayed in middle of screen shaking if you moved it fast you could see it scrol across screen very fast then back to middle shaking. When ever I turned on my x-45 profiler.

so I tried several profiles for trackir and my x-45 profiler to no avail if both are on I have same problem.

Decided to try latest trackIr software from site. Computer store install 2.00 from disc when I tested it last week. So I let latest driver uninstall softeware and reboot my machine.

Now it wont type can't sign in keyboard is not recognized. Lights come on for numlock on boot and stay on never used too. always had to turn it on myself to put in pass word.

I'm on another machine to post this.

any help would be aprreciated.

Hello:

This is not a good sign. I have seen this happen once before where the keyboard driver has trapped all your keys or has trapped the CRTL / ALT / DEL keys.

The only solution to this, as far as I know, is to unload the keyboard hook, this involves booting from another Win2K disk in the same machine and manually editing some files to unload the driver, basically very hard to do.

We have no idea why this would happen, but it has once before.

Thanks

This is what I figured either that, or some way in DOS.

I tried to repair windows with win 2000 disk no help.

tried to repair boot though it aswell no good

Reformatted it. Almost done.

So if this happens again, do you think its a problem with trackir , need another one.

Or a compatability with my system and it won't be for me to own one.

Thanks for the quick reply

Hello:

If it happens again then I think it is a compatibility problem, but I highly doubt it will. Let me know.

Looks Good Jim

No problems so far I'm sure it was a fluke.
