Trouble looking down while looking left/right -

Hi,
When I try to look down and left, or down and right the yaw component seems to overpower the pitch component and the view skews wildly to the right. So I am not able to look at,say, the throttle or instruments located lower down on the left or right of the cockpit. Even looking straight down and to the front the view tends to want to skew with even minor head movement, so fiddling with switches etc is difficult. I’ve tried disabling yaw and the pitch then seems to work ok, conversely if I disable pitch then yaw seems to be ok. But when both are enabled they seem to interfere with each other and the yaw seems to be the major culprit.
Any suggestions for stabilizing left & right lower views? Without going back to the Dramamine
