Hi,

I have a P4 hyperthreading, ATI 9700 system.
I see a FPS decrease of 6-7 when comparing a situation with constant FPS, in Forgotten Battles (the trackIR green light on vs. off).

Is this typical? If not what should I be checking?

I also seem to notice a jerking movement associated with the trackIR. It is variable in nature and at times is nonexsistent.

The FPS are ok during these times.

Recently I have tried disengaging the trackIR during these "micro" jerking episodes and everything seems to smooth out.

I do need to do more testing to confirm this. Just wondering if others have noted anything similar?

Ive noticed that as the game gets laggier and more warping occurs due to lag and bad connections, the TrackIR gets choppier as well.

FB has a horrible bug in its net code that is being tested and fixed for the first patch. To fix it now, make sure that everyone on the server uses only default skins for both the plane and the pilot. Having skin download turned off does not make a difference.

I believe my problem has been solved by switching to a new usb port. The one the trackIR was on must have been sharing an irq. In my device manager it appears as though at least one of my usb ports shares.

Anyways, after switching the FPS no longer drops down, and the micro jerking is gone!
