Connecting Eye Tracker to Motive via eSync 2

Hello Community,
im struggeling to connect an eye-tracker (Tobi Glasses Pro 3) to the motive software (Motive 2.2.0) via the Optitrack eSync2.
The glasses are set-up properly and plugged into the input of the eSync2 with the respective cabel.
The eSync is connected to the PoE-Switch with a normal ethernet-cabel.
Motive seems to find the eSync2 but if i select the corresponding input channel in the Sync Input settings, it says "No Incoming Data: Check Settings"
Do you have any idea how to set this up properly?
Thank you in advance

Edit: If the eye-tracking glasses are considered the slave device, should i connect the glasses to the output of the eSync?
