TIR2 stops working "In Game"

Hello guys,
Had this problem in LOMAC, and now in F4/1.08US/SP3/FF2.0/BMS1.03/FF2.1 as well.
(Running in Enhanced mode of course).
The profiles load, test and center fine. Minimize the TIR software and launch the game.
When I get in the pit in F4 - no control in 3D pit with the TIR sensor (Or the stick hat).
I have TIR and mouse look enabled for the 3D cockpit only in the config editor. (I have tried it without mouselook enabled as well).
When I exit the game and maximize the TIR software, the white dot is still tracking in the "Tracking" screen, but the "Motion" screen shows no movement.
Whats weird is after I uninstall the TIR program and reinstall it, the whole thing works fine for a few days worth of flying in F4 - no problems. No more Lomac flying here though.
I have tried moving the sensor USB plug to the one on the front of the PC instead of by the back next to my X45 - but struck out there as well.
Its a WIN XP Home OS on Asus P4/PE Black Pearl MB.
The TIR software is 3.03 as received with the unit.
I would appreciate any ideas.
