Keyboard Typing BUG!?

This has been 'bugging' me for weeks now! I couldn't figure out what was causing it, until just now.

Here's the scenario:
Sometimes, when I am typing, if I type a comma ',' the computer causes a context menu to automatically popup under the mouse pointer where ever it is. If the mouse pointer is over some of my text, then the cursor also jumps to that location in the text. If the mouse pointer is over something other than the text I am typing then the cursor leaves the text area. I guess basically, if I type a comma character the computer acts like I just did a right click. The cursor leaves the text I'm typing and jumps to where ever the mouse pointer is and does a right-click all by it self.

It happened a lot in the Lomac message board, so I began to think the bug was there. But that didn't make sense that it only happened here. Then I noticed that it did happened in Notepad sometimes, and later I noticed it even happened when I was renaming a desktop shortcut. It didn't matter, if I typed a comma anywhere it would happen.

Finally I noticed that it only happened when TrackIR2 was loaded. If I unload TrackIR2 from the Systray the bug goes away. If I load TrackIR2 the bug starts again. Every comma I type jumps the cursor out of the text and to the mouse with a context menu. In Notepad, TextPad, naming Shortcuts, Posting Messages. When I unload TrackIR2 I can type a comma in all those programs and no problem.

There is one more symptom with this bug. If you press the period '.' key it acts just like the comma bug, except there is no context menu that pops up, the cursor just jumps to where the mouse pointer is.

I read another message on the message boards that said that this was a feature of some third party software that works with TrackIR to move the cursor to the mouse location on a certain keystroke. Well, I don't have any third party software like that.

Is there any way to turn this feature off in TrackIR2??

this is probably happening because trackir has bound the keys you are trying to use.

in the trackir configuration program, go to the hotkeys tab and uncheck "Trap key" check boxes for the keys that are giving you trouble

hope it works
