Conf.ini and remembering settings

Firstly my unit works really well no problems with it in use.
My problem is that for some reason the software does not remember the settings I have chosen and I have to manually load the unit every time windows starts. (I have checked the auto-load/minimise switches).
I have looked in the TIR folder and I can't find any conf.ini file to check the settings and change if necessary.
Is there (or should there be), a conf.ini file??
I have reloaded the 3.03 software several times to see if that helped but still no conf.ini file!

Hello 123-Wulf-JG123

It's odd that you software will not auto run once you have checked the box.
What other programs auto-run when you boot your computer?
Have you dropped it into the Start-up folder to see if that auto loads the software?

There is no conf.ini file. Depending on how you turn off the software it will either save to the registry or save to the profile file.

I still cant get it to autorun, Ive checked my start programme and anything else required is running ok.... I'll tinker a bit more as I don't think it is the software, more likely something I've missed in my system. I thought there was a conf.ini file because I noticed some people in various forums mentioned editing conf.ini settings, I thought they were referring to the TIR conf.ini, I must have picked them up wrong.
