I cannot for the life of me figure out how to "clip" the device to my flat panel! Am I just mechanically stupid...or is there a method?
It is not stable up there and every time when I try to adjust it to the software it is a nightmare as the cord is stiff and pulls in one way or another yet the device is not tied down.
Please Help!!!! Thanks.

Help Attaching TrackIR2 to LCD Flat Panel
Re: Help Attaching TrackIR2 to LCD Flat Panel
I used Blue tack under mine to stick it down to the top of the panel, i then used a cord tie to tie the cord up with the moniter cord so it didnt move to much.

jseagull,
You can buy some very inexpensive adhesive telephone wire clips from RadioShack that hold the TrackIR remarkably well on top of flat panel and LCD monitors.
The identification number on the packet of clips is 278-1667A and is manufactured by a company called InterTAN and sold at RadioShack.
If you drop me your e-mail I would be happy to send you some jpegs of these working.

Same clips, but one other option:
Mount the clips sideways on the back of the monitor. Remove the big rubber feet and slide the base into the "slots".
You will have to hold the base like a T and then position the head up and over the top of the T so it's peering over the top.
The camera will be positioned in the "slots" of the clips, such that it will be peering over the top of the monitor.
Once positioned where you want it, stick the clips to the back of the monitor.
I think this setup looks better, because you don't see the clips and camera is not as conspicuous.

Man you can buy some silicon glue - its easy to remove it from plastic and easy to fix correct position for TrackIr.
The only problem is fix-position of device ..
