Just wondering what the connector on the left hand side of trackIR2 is used for? There is a little hole there with some sort of connector attached to the circuitboard. Looks like a power connector.

B.t.w. Is there any development on the Z-axis (forward-backward) interpritation by the software? Been lots of talk about it for quite some time. Will we ever see that?

Will we ever see that?The connector on the side of the unit is not functional, it does not provide any features to TrackIR users. In the NaturalPoint SmartNAV EG and AT products, it is fully implemented in hardware and software to provide "Ability Switch" clicking.

"Is there any development on the Z-axis" this has been asked for many times in the forum, and is somthing that we are looking at.
