Just wanted to post up that i have had your Natural point tracker 1 and now 2. Great product straight out of the box and wouldnt flight sim without it.

Im running the latest drivers for Natural Point.

Personal big thankyou from me.

This week i tried to install Logitech QuickCam 4000.

This totally screwed up the tracking. The cursor was flicking all over the screen. When you go into the camera view - you really do get camera view with my own appearance as a shadowy figure.

I uninstalled the Logitech 4000 and the problem immediately disappeared and i was back to normal.

There is a conflict between these two products.

Hope you can resolve this issue in the next set of drivers as i would like to be able to use my logitech web cam.

This is the first time that I have heard of any conflicts between these two devices.
Are you using a hub and more importantly is this powered?

Ive currently totally uninstalled my web cam because of this problem but i still have the natural point tracker working fine.

I had the two of them plugged into the hub on the side of my monitor which is a Sony Trinitron G520.

Both of them dont have any separate power supply.

Probably a greater chance of you guys dealing with the problem then logitech.

However id certainly like to get my logitech web cam working. At the present moment I can have either my natural point tracker working or my web cam working but not both.

There is one thing that you will have to remember, and your explanation explains a great deal.

If the hub is unpowered then this may explain everything. Both the TrackIR and the Logitech camera will almost certainly exceed the power output on your USB port.

You have a maxium of 500A on each port, and you have to remember that TrackIR will be using 350A, not a lot left to run an equally powered unit.

Try a different port for each unit. If you are using XP then you can check the power requirements in the "Device Manager"
