Joystick Mapping

I have a CH Fighterstick USB Joystick I want to map some buttons on stick instead of keyboard. I have no idea how to do this can someone please assist assuming you are talking to dummy! (Which you are). Running Windows XP

Macka-,
If you map buttons directly to your stick then you will have to use the software that came with your joystick.
I have keys mapped to my sidewinder and they work perfectly.
Please let me know if you ave problems and I will look at the CH software.
