Please Help

Greetings all,
Long time TrackIR user. I have a problem with my TIR2. I decided to update the drivers this morning on my perfectly functioning TIR2 (Yeah, I don't know why either) Now I cannot reinstall the device. It is detected by Windows but the hardware wizard keeps telling me it can't install the drivers. I'm sure this is my fault, I tried to install the drivers over the top of my 3.01 drivers using the .exe from the website ( I know, RTFM). In any event now after several reboots, uninstalls, registry clean's and so on. I have one dead TIR2 and several days off ahead for flying and no TIR2. I have tried the CD version and 3.12 and 3.13 all with no luck. Can anyone offer any suggestions.
I am running WinXP home (NOT SP2)
TIR2 Serial #011652
The software in all cases installs without a hitch, no errors. The computer detects the device when I plug it back in but will not install the drivers. I have tried with Hub, without hub and several different USB ports...the result is always the same.
Thanks for any assistance!
Paul
