is there a way to cancel an order

I made an error in my shipping selection and wanted to try to cancel my order. Has anyone had success doing this? I emailed the "sales" email literally a minute after I received my confirmation and noticed the error, but after hearing about the response time, I'm not very hopeful they'll cancel it.
