Hi Topace,

I have been having problems with TIR 3. I solved the first problem by editing out all X-KEYS entries from the registry but I have another problem now.

I can install 3.10 okay but when I plug in the unit sometimes it is detected as and Unknow device and sometimes it install the drivers okay but when I fire up the 3.10 software it won't load until I unplug the unit. The unit no longer lights up and I'm afraid that it has developed a fault. I can plug my TIR 1 back in and it works.

Please can you e-mail me your registry entries that you mentioned in another post. I have tried everything that I can and spent all day yeaterday trying in vain to get things working again.

From your previous post I can see that you have your unit working okay.

I think that your issue is different than that of Topace.
Do you have the run at Start-up boxes checked, this would account for what you have discribed.

Uncheck this box and see if the problem remains
