tir3pro worked few days until now

Couple a days ago i received the unit, i set it up, made a good curve in the software, and had a blast playing lomac and fb.
So today i was playing lomac, and was doing a positive cobra manouver and using the headmounted mode in the sukhoi in a dogfight (for getting a big AoA advantage.)
Anyways, at that time my view freaked out, i checked the tracking screen and got a bit depressed.
There is a lot of 'background noise' but it still appears when i cover the unit. So i assumed it was a software problem.
Alot of green, red, white and grey random stuff happening in the tracking tab.
So i checked the pdf - the software and or drivers seem to be having problems with VIA chipsets and SBlive! cards.
Crap. ( i got both.)
So i updated the drivers of both, rebooted, but no joy, same problem.
1/100th of the time the tracking seems fine, then it goes static again. It seems to invert alot too.
It looks like when one would unplug the cable of youre tv.
Are there specific driver versions i should try, and why should i get a self powered usb hub, when having problems one is also advised to try to plug it in directly?
Hope someone can help me out
Marco
